Scovia
Scovia is the 4th born out of 8 children. Her parents separated, and her dad got another wife, rendering her mother helpless with the children. It has been hard for them to survive solely on farming and digging for other people in the community to provide for the basic needs of the family. Scovia was lucky that she was able to be sponsored through FCW, as sponsorship has supported her education up to now. Scovia is a slow learner and needs much attention and concentration while in classes. Because of this, she has had to repeat classes and has begun to feel unfit for her class because of her age. The Kipindi Program is the best place to help Scovia transition from childhood to adulthood. She is excited about this opportunity to be a part of the Kipindi family. By God's grace, Scovia will learn many skills that will help her live a self-sustaining lifestyle.
